Just outside the gates of Rome, in the direction of the coast, the Presidential Estate of Castelporziano extends across 5892 hectares. This nature reserve located along the cost, near the Tiber river, belongs to the President of the Republic and was designated a nature reserve in 1999. It is without doubt the most majestic planted forest in the whole of Italy.
