The Royal Palace of Colorno

It is impossible to be unimpressed when faced with such complex and monumental architecture. The palace has over 400 rooms, numerous courtyards, is partially surrounded by the Parma river. Inside there is a square and a splendid French garden that was recently renovated and is therefore kept in perfect order, to such an extent that one would think the estate were still inhabited by the Duke and Duchess who spent their lives here.
