Salsomaggiore Terme is the home of the healthy and therapeutic “salt-bromo-iodic” waters, which were recognised as far back as Roman and Celtic times. Their therapeutic properties would later be discovered by a medical doctor. ‘Terme di Salsomaggiore’ is one of the largest Italian Spa complexes, famous for its waters that are among the richest in natural mineral salts.
