Sicily - Sicilian delicacies

As well as enjoying the splendid Sicilian sun and sea, visitors can enjoy the typical culinary specialities that are popular with adults and children alike, thanks to a mix of traditions that this island can offer. For a sweet selection, one can chose from the classic Sicilian cassata, Sicilian cannoli, or the frozen flavoured ice known as granita (very widespread in Sicily). If instead we want something savoury there are panelle, crocchè, sfincione, stigghiole and spleen sandwich.
